Don’t call it a comeback

So I’m going to try to get things up and running again.

I’ve begun doing a guest post thing every second Sunday on Bonnie’s blog, Bookish Ardour if you want to check it out. I write about teaching books at school and other such things.

I thought I would make my comeback tonight, as I sit, sick, at home, in the school holidays.

You see the thing about being a teacher is, during the term, your body does not allow you to get sick. You don’t have time to get sick because every kid you teach needs 100% of your attention at all times. If you happen to teach some senior classes, well they need 200% of your attention at all times. Thus, your body does not allow you to be sick because if you’re like me and teach 6 different classes, two of which are seniors, you just don’t have the time.

BAM!

School holidays hit and your body is all like, mad, time to get sick. Hence why teachers are always sick in the holidays. Rort!

I don’t want to go on a rant about how hard teaching is, but just know, holidays are very much needed and being sick is very much not needed.

Anyway, I will update again soon and probably post a song of the month later tonight.

Hope I can regain any of my previous readers.

Sleep tight little ones.
